Hard Lid Recovery Track Mounts

Why mount recovery tracks to your Load-Lid?

Recovery tracks are essential kit for any 4x4 adventure. Mounting them on the exterior of your Load-Lid means they're always accessible when you need them, and the sand and mud stays outside the tub instead of coating your gear.

What you need

The Utemaster Destroyer Side Rails are the foundation. They bolt onto the Load-Lid and feature a built-in T-Track channel that runs the full length of the rail - no drilling, no permanent modifications.

You'll also need a set of compatible recovery track brackets.

How to fit them

The T-Track channel makes the whole process straightforward. Watch the video below, or follow the steps:

  1. Remove the end cap from the Destroyer Side Rail by undoing the two side bolts.
  2. Slide the recovery track mounting brackets into the T-Track channel from the open end.
  3. Position the brackets to suit the width of your recovery tracks.
  4. Secure the brackets and replace the end cap.
  5. Mount your recovery tracks using the mounting pins.

Once fitted, give the tracks a firm shake before heading off-road to confirm they're locked down.
