A typical roof rack system mounted to the cab is high off the ground, making it hard to access.
Cross Bars mount directly to your Load-Lid tub, bringing your gear down to a height you can actually reach - and cutting wind drag at the same time.
They're the mounting point for Frame Mount Bike Carriers and Roof Top Tents. Bike carriers attach directly to the bars, keeping the front wheel on the bike so you load faster and keep the tub free for everything else. For overlanding, cross bars paired with the Destroyer Side Rails are the most effective way to mount a roof top tent to a hard lid.
Note: The 15kg Gas Stay Upgrade is required when fitting Cross Bars. If you want tub access while a roof top tent is mounted, remove the locking plate under the Load-Lid handle.
