What is the Load-Lid™?
The Load-Lid™ is the world's toughest, most customisable wellside hard-lid. Built to handle the most demanding missions. Constructed with lightweight aluminium this is no ordinary Tonneau Cover. This is a hard lid that adds style, appeal and convenience to modern-day utes.
The Load-Lid™ will enhance the practicality of your wellside area. Your belongings will be safe and dry underneath the lid. Whether it be a weekend trip away with the family or a full-on day at the job site, the Utemaster Load-Lid™ will unleash your utes potential.
Optional Central Locking
The Load-Lid Central Locking kit allows you to lock your Load-Lid with the factory Vehicle Remote. The Central Locking kit comes complete with a plug and play loom.
Please note: Your lid can be locked manually using the supplied key. The Central Locking loom is an optional upgrade accessory.

There is also the option to have a Load Lid that integrates with the Z71 Fibreglass system. Lashing Rings can easily be fitted to the Z71 Load Lid but please note that due to the shape of this lid, the Side Rails cannot be installed. This model comes standard in Oasis Black.

The Utemaster Load-Lid doubles the load capacity of your wellside with a 200kg load rating.
All Utemaster's load ratings are tested to AS 1235-2000 Roof Rack standards.

The Load-Lid comes standard in 'Mill Finish' this can be upgraded to 'Oasis Black' which is a tough, durable powder-coat designed to go with the look of your vehicle. This process is carried through our in-house powder coating plant which provides optimum quality and shorter production lead times.
Security
"Can I lock my Load-Lid without the Central Locking Loom Accessory?"
Yes! Underneath the centre twist lock, you will find a manual locking barrel.
Each lid is supplied with a unique set of keys designed to work with your lid. This means you can securely lock away items in your wellside.

Single-Handed Operation
Using only one hand means you'll never have to put everything down to open the lid again.
The Single Twist Lock allows you to open your hard lid with one hand, one motion. Meaning you can easily open your lid without having to put your tools down.
This is a feature unique to the Utemaster Load-Lid and was designed to make accessing your gear easier and faster.

Water Displacement
When the Load-Lid is opened water runs off the back of your lid and onto the ground - not into your tray.
This will protect the tools and equipment you have in your wellside.
Full-Length Rain Channel
This is an innovative feature we developed to ensure your gear stays dry even when hitting the Sports Bar Lid at high speeds.
The channels re-direct the water hitting the front of the Load-Lid along the sides and off the back - Keeping your gear dry.

Raised Profile
Running out of space in your wellside? With the Load-Lid there are no intrusions below the top edge of your wellside. The unique raised edge profile also adds a staunch appearance, improves rigidity and reduces water pooling.
Very Easy to Remove, and Refit!
The Load-Lid can easily be removed by undoing the x4 wing bolts holding it in place. This can be done in a matter of minutes and all you'll need is a mate to help lift it off.
This gives you the space you'll need to carry objects such as a fridge, washing machine or quad bike in your wellside.
Please note, installation instructions may differ slightly depending on vehicle model and Load-Lid type.
Load-Lid Strap
Tucked away under your Load-Lid and is designed to make it easier to reach and pull down the lid. Even if you are tall, this can be particularly useful if your ute is parked on a high angle.
