Does fitting aftermarket accessories void my Utemaster warranty?
Short answer: no, not entirely.
Fitting aftermarket accessories to a Utemaster Centurion Canopy or Load-Lid does not void the warranty on the whole product. It only affects coverage for issues directly caused by those aftermarket parts.
Example: Fit a set of aftermarket roof racks and the mounting points develop a leak - that specific issue won't be covered. Every other component of your canopy that isn't affected by the aftermarket fitment remains fully covered under standard warranty terms.

Does the Next-Gen Ford Ranger require a J-Brace?
Yes. Ford requires that any 2022+ Next-Gen Ford Ranger fitted with accessories extending above the tub and weighing more than 45kg must have tub reinforcement brackets (J-Brace) installed. This is a Ford vehicle requirement - skipping it puts your factory warranty at risk.
If your ute doesn't already have one fitted, J-Brace kits can be ordered directly through Ford, or we can supply one for you at your convenience. Either way, it needs to be installed before your canopy goes on.
