The Kia Tasman is one of the most unique-looking utes to hit the market, and this build shows how the right ute upgrades can complement it both aesthetically and practically.
Here, we’ve gone for the Utemaster TrailCore Tray & Canopy setup, with a full internal Mule-Tek fit-out and colour-matched canopy doors. The result lifts the Tasman into a premium-looking setup, while the TrailCore system adds the strength, storage, and modularity needed behind the cab.

The TrailCore Tray & Canopy
The TrailCore Tray & Canopy gives the Tasman a full-length storage platform with secure canopy access, integrated side storage, and a clean rear setup that looks like it belongs on the vehicle.
The colour-matched doors are what make this build stand out. Instead of looking like an add-on, the canopy follows the lines of the Tasman and keeps the whole vehicle looking sharp, tidy, and ready for the road.
Mule-Tek Rear Wall Panel
The Mule-Tek Rear Wall Panel turns the back of the canopy into usable storage. Tools, recovery gear, camp accessories, and day-to-day equipment can be mounted where they are easy to grab.
Internal Front Wall and Shelf
Inside the canopy, the Mule-Tek Front Wall Panel creates another full mounting surface at the front of the setup. It is a clean way to keep equipment off the floor, secured properly, and easy to access from the side doors.
The internal mid-height shelf adds another layer of usable storage. Bulkier gear can sit underneath, while lighter items and frequently used equipment can stay up top. For touring, trade, or weekend use, that separation makes a big difference.
Underbody Drawer
The underbody drawer gives the build long, lockable storage without eating into the canopy space. It is ideal for tools, recovery gear, straps, or anything that needs to be kept secure and out of the weather.
Pull it out, grab what you need, and close it back up. Simple, clean, and built into the tray properly.
Tyre Holder and Jerry Can Holder
The tyre holder keeps the spare mounted at the rear of the build, freeing up internal storage and keeping the canopy clear for gear.
The jerry can holder adds secure external storage for fuel, water, or rubbish, depending on the trip.
Central Locking
Instead of managing every door and storage point separately, the canopy can be locked down quickly and securely.
With the TrailCore Tray & Canopy, Mule-Tek panels, underbody storage, colour-matched finish, and rear-mounted accessories, this new Kia gets a storage system that looks seamlessly integrated from day one.
