Strength
The Opening Tub Platform is made from hard-wearing aluminium with stainless steel hardware with a high load capacity so you don't have to worry about damaging your Roller Shutter underneath!
The platform boasts a dynamic load capacity of 200kgs and a static load capacity of 300kgs.
Whether you have a dirty wheelbarrow, ladder, pallet, kayak or mountain bike, the Tub Platform will allow you to utilise the load area on top and underneath the roller shutter!
Easy Access
Fixed platforms are sometimes used on Wildtraks. However, these will generally restrict access to your tub because they don't open out of the way or are mounted on high legs which makes the loading height difficult.
The GearForce platform hinges open at the front giving you easy access to all your gear.
Low Profile
Unlike a traditional Tub Rack or Cross Bar setup, the GearForce Platform has a low profile design that allows it to sit as close as possible to the Roller Shutter.
This makes it easier to load gear because you're not lifting it up as high. It also makes it look slim and integrated with the ute design.
Security
The GearForces Platforms comes standard with a lock to secure it in place. This ensures your GearForce Platform is safe on the tub at all times.
Adjustable Cross Bars
The platform offers adjustable crossbars with multiple holes, allowing you to customize the spacing to suit your needs.
Please note: The rubber strip shown in the cross bars is not yet available to purchase.
Securing your load
Securing your gear with the optional tie-down hooks is a breeze!
These can be positioned anywhere along the rack where there is a mounting hole present.

Adjustable Gas Stays
The gas stays used to open the Tub Platform can be positioned in either of two positions to help with opening the rack:
Position #1: The platform can comfortably be opened and closed without any load on top
Position #2: Can lift a maximum load of 30kgs.
Load Stop
The GearForce Platform comes standard with a load stop at the front which you can push your load hard up against it without worrying about damaging your cab. This also gives you additional tie-down points to ensure that the most awkward loads are still safe.
Easy to remove
Due to the fact that a roller shutter has no load capacity, some ute owners choose to mount a platform over the top so that they can utilise the load area.
The tub platforms/racks are usually hard to remove which makes it difficult to transport a large object such as a motorbike.
The GearForce Platform is designed with a quick-release hinge and gas strut system which allows you to remove it in under a minute when required.
