The standard height of a Load-Lid when open is approximately 2-meters off the ground. This is great because it gives you plenty of space to fit larger items into your wellside. However, it can make the handle hard to reach if you're not tall enough.
This is why we include a Load-Lid strap as standard with all of our Load-Lids. This simple strap is tucked away under your Load-Lid and is designed to make it easier to reach and pull down the lid. Even if you are tall, this can be particularly useful if your ute is parked on a high angle.
The strap can be easily tucked away when it's not needed by clipping it onto the button. This is a feature unique to the Utemaster Hard Lid and is designed to reduce the time it takes to access and load your gear.
