Q: Are Utemaster products covered by a warranty?
A: Certainly! All our Utemaster products are covered by a 3-year warranty.
Q: Can I fit a towbar to my Ute after my Service Body or Flat Deck has been fitted?
A: Yes! It is easier to fit the towbar when the Ute is cab/chassis but it is certainly possible.
Q: How Long does it take to fit a Load-Lid?
A: Very quick! For a standard Load-Lid around 15mins
Q: Is it easy to remove a Load-Lid?
A: Load-lid is the easiest to remove lid available. Simply remove the whole lid by undoing four internal wing bolts, disconnect the gas struts, lock the lid into the mounting frame and then remove. No tools - It's that easy!
Q: Will I need tools to fit a Load-Lid?
A: Load-lid is the easiest lid available to fit, no tools are required when fitting with an under-rail liner. It simply drops into place!
Q: What is an under-rail liner and an over-rail liner?
A: An under-rail is a tray liner that stops short of the sides, whereas an over-rail liner comes up and over the edge of the ute tray wellside. Our products are not compatible with over rail liners.
Q: I have a Spray-on liner, can you do a lid for me?
A: Yes, we can. Our under rail liner kits work with any spray liner.
Q: What model of utes do Utemaster make lids for?
A: We make lids for every double cab model available in NZ. Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Isuzu, Holden, Great Wall, SsangYong & Ram.

Q: What colour options are available for the Load-Lid?
A: Load-Lid comes in a standard mill finish aluminium for carrying loads. The lid can also be supplied in Powdercoated Black.
Q: Can anyone access my tray while the lid is closed?
A: No, Utemaster Load-Lid has a unique tray locking plate to ensure that the lid keeps your tray secure.
Q: How many Bikes/Cycles can I carry on my Load-Lid?
A: The standard lid you can transport four cycles and on the Sports Bar lid you can transport three.
